A piece about betrayal.
Tell me again I don’t have to be alone.


Then go and commit an act that I could never condone.


Tell me again that your heart holds true.


Yet you don't realize it was someone I knew.


Tell me again that you didn't mean to lie.


And try to explain the who, where and why.


Tell me again of your love so strong.


While you lie to yourself you did no wrong.


Yes, tell me again that I didn't have to be alone.


As I tell you goodbye, then hang up the phone.
