A poem inspired by christ passion
In the deep dark of night you where betrayed by a friend. They brought testimony that could not stand. Yet guilt they found were there was none. The governor found you innocent, but did as the people willed. Washing his hands of your innocent blood.

On a cross they hung you. The sign above your head said King of the Jews. None understood that you had to die so that we may live. You died for my crimes, the crimes of all mankind. Three days later he apeared alive. Victor over death.
