A poem about how amazing each new day is.
The dew rests on the grass--the tears of angels mourning unrepentant, demonic souls.
It will seem to dissappear and give way to hope. Hope for the whole
world.
The sky is a multitude of colors--
an unexpected rainbow. These colors reflect God's countenance. His
promises will always endure, just like His love.
All is quiet--nature bowing before the Creator in awe and respect.
It looks as if I am alone.
But I'm not.
I am surrounded by Love,
by my one true Love.
The Savior is here, waiting.
Waiting for me.
I don't know why He loves me this much--such a spectacle every single day!
I don't know why He loves me this much--I see, through the shadows, His scars.
The scars of His death. His horrible, gruesome death that no words
can explain. And He did it for me.
I am not worthy of this much love and sacrifice by Him.
He cries with me, then dries my tears.
I try to explain, but His finger comes to my lip. "Shh. You're forgiven. Don't worry--I will always be here for you. I love you. You have faith in Me--that's enough. My blood has covered your sins and taken them away. They are not yours anymore--they are mine. I take them gladly because I love you. I love you..."His voice faded away. All that was left was His love.
I wanted to stay forever, but I am told there is more joy to come.
I worship Him quietly, and leave.
Today was just the beginning.
