This is a poem i wrote one morning after getting back from a jog at the beach.
A New Day

The azure haze,
The virgin sand.
The first of the rays,
Now, on the land.

Into the chilly morning,
The warmth seeps.
And my frozen heart,
Out with joy leaps.

A breeze blows,
The sea gulls call.
It’s a new day,
And that is all!!
