A feeling I expressed on paper a long time ago...
I sit in silence, never moving, ever thinking-
Waiting
Shadows move and time sits still, but I remain-
Waiting

Cold erupts and whispers fade, still I'm here-
Waiting
My soul is empty, my heart a void, here I sit-
Waiting

This way I'll be till you return, but 'til then-
I'm waiting
My being yearns with a need for love, for only you-
I'm waiting

For only you, I'm waiting
