Saying goodbye to childhood. Quick poem, maybe not so good.
Walking down the street
By myself and alone
Wandering past my house
That was the place that I called home

I left my past behind
In that old house on the corner
All my memories gone
With the wind that blows by

I always knew this would happen
I walk away and never look back
But it happened so soon
It happened so damn fast

With a tear rolling down
And my head held high
I knew that I can live on
I know I can say goodbye
