Finding the true amidst the fickle
Intersecting planes and
circles, lines never askew.
The geometry of life
dictates our fate.
Follow the blueprint:
row D, column 3.
Your first job.
4 degrees up - marriage, birth,
money, death.
"Can I?..." No.
"May we?..." Maybe.

Then there are the factions,
the rhombus, ellipse
that try to fight the system.
Throw away life in search
of free death.

Instead look to one another.
No, we are not free, our
course already charted.
But in ourselves and in
each other is something great enough.
There may be a straight line from
me to "this" and "that,"
but between you and I,
and he and us, no fate
is predetermined. Because
together we share the moment,
in which lies the beauty of the world.
