A halloween poem.
On a dark dreary night with quite a fright
I entered a haunted house with willful might
In that house was a small black cat
With big green eyes in the dark it sat
It hissed and growled and showed it's teeth
Then it went back into its sheath

There was a noise echoing from behind
I was so afraid of what I might find
I could not see, it was much too dark
The dangers beyond I'm about to embark
There was a creepy skeleton hanging on the wall
Bound by chains and still wearing a shawl

There was a ghostly woman with long black hair
She laughed and gave me an evil-eyed stare
I was unable to move, I was petrified
Her wan face; she looked as if she had died

Wondering What property I have Crossed
I Ran very fast but I was still lost
I did not know what to do, I was So frightened
I could not breathe and my throat had tightened
Looking for a way out I had no clue
My only option was to wait for my boo!
