I'm thinking some household products are more trouble than they're worth!
Of all the things that I really dislike doing, cleaning the toilet rates at the top of the list. It's not so much that I don't like cleaning as much as it's cleaning that particular room. I know this might sound weird but when I see that ring in the toilet bowl the first thing I think about is the untold zillions of microscopic animals running all over the place in there. They're there ya know! Now if it was just me that had to see that stuff, the bathroom would probably never get cleaned. I mean I'm capable of closing my eyes and holding my breath for a couple of minutes. However I'm a single guy and I like to date and on occasion I'll bring a girl home. And therein lies the rub.

So imagine my pleasure when I learned about this disposable toilet brush. I mean this has got to be the greatest invention since the remote control. The best feature is that instead of having to deal with the old type toilet brush, you know, the one with all of those animals on it-this one just flushes away when you done. Now how great is that?! As soon as I hear about this thing I buy one and I'm actually happy about it. I was actually looking forward to removing that scary looking ring in my toilet and that's exactly what I did. And boy did it look great when I was done. No, really...I did a hell of a job.
The problem started about three days after that. I come home from work, go in to take a leak and the ring's back in the toilet. I'm thinking that that's way too fast for a ring to build up. After all it was just cleaned seventy-two hours ago. So I go and grab a fresh brush, attach it to the handle and clean the ring away again. Another three days pass and the ring's back. Not only was I getting aggravated but I was a little creeped out as well. I mean maybe, instead of cleaning the bowl with these disposable brushes, I'm somehow feeding the little buggers! How else could that ring be coming back so soon? Not one to give up, I use the third and last disposable brush and really scrub down the toilet. Sure enough, three days later and the ring is back bigger and darker than ever.

Well, to this day, I still don't know what was going on with that deal but I did fix the ring problem. Upon the return of that third ring I immediately went out and bought a gallon of Clorox. I didn't use any brushes this time. All I did was pour that stuff into the toilet,ALL of it! And I'm very happy to report that the bleach killed each and every one of those little suckers because that bowl stayed clean for months after that. I guess I showed them.
