Aurora lost her eyesight and after boarding the wrong train she starts to see magic.
Love Is Blind

(Summary)

After seeing her parents being murdered Aurora lost her eyesight due to the traumatic experience. Strange things are now happening to her, she can’t see what she used to, but a whole lot of strange things instead.

“Move it!!” A voice shouted behind her. “What are you blind?”

“Yeah, actually I am!” She shouted back. Yeesh, didn’t they know she was just getting the hang of walking with the cane thing? She heard the announcement for passengers going on train B to board. Here I go…

She got on the train and the felt something really weird go over her. Like slimy cold goop was poured over her head. She blinked though the gesture was purely useless.

“Hello!” A cheerful voice said. “Welcome to the Faerie Express. Where might you be wishing to travel?”

“Um…I think I must have gotten on the wrong train.” Aurora replied.

The man started to say something and stopped. “What do you mean the wrong train?”

“I think I made a mistake and stepped onto the wrong train.”

“Nonsense.” The man replied. “There are no such things as mistakes and stepping on the wrong train.”

“I think I would know.” Aurora replied stiffly. The man raised an eyebrow and looked at the petite girl with blonde hair and enchanting gray eyes that seem to look thru you.

“Well, if that’s what you think then maybe you should meet the captain.” The man said.

“Okay.”

“Great. Follow me.” The man turned left and starting going toward that direction. Without knowing why Aurora went left too. She followed behind him silently for a few seconds then noticed that she couldn’t hear his feet walking. She heard the sound of her ankle boots but couldn’t hear the sound of his. Instead she heard a slight flapping sound. Wings?

“Excuse me, sir?” She said.

“Yes? And it’s Pippin. But you can call me Pip.”

“Okay, Pip, sorry if this seems weird but are you flying?”

“Of course I’m flying. That’s how all faeries walk now.”

“Faeries don’t exist.” Aurora replied without thinking.

“Of course they do. I’m flying right in front of you aren’t I?”

“Um…I can’t really see you, you know.”

“Oh. Your second sight hasn’t awakened yet has it? No worries. It’ll awaken soon.”

“I don’t have a second sight; I don’t even have a first one anymore!” She shouted, slightly frustrated.

“Right, dear. That’s why we’re going to the captain so you can clear things up. By the way, dear, what’s your name?”

“Aurora. Aurora Ena.”

The guy stopped for a second then laughed hard. “A name like Aurora and you say you don’t believe in faeries.”

What have I gotten myself into?
