Poem I wrote. Uses a lot of word play.
I sat in my room,
My cell of a room,
And I called out.

I called to somebody.
Anybody.
And nobody answered.
No one,
No one at all.

Not a bird,
Or a tree,
Or a speck of dust.

Nobody answered.
No one at all.

I sat in my room,
My cage of a room,
And I called out.

I called out to Somebody.
Not Anybody,
Somebody.
And Nobody answered.

Nobody answered,
Just Nobody answered,
Just little old Nobody answered.

Little old Nobody
The youngest of three.
First Anybody,
Then Somebody,
And lastly li'l ol' Nobody.

I sat in my room,
My prison of a room.
And I wished I was Somewhere.

I just wished I was Somewhere.
Not Anywhere.
Just Somewhere.
And suddenly I was Nowhere.

Suddenly I was Nowhere.
Not Somewhere.
Not Anywhere.
Just Nowhere.

I was in Nowhere.
The smallest of places.
I was Nowhere.

Poor old Nowhere
Where Nobody goes.

Not Somebody.

He goes Somewhere.

Not Anybody.

He goes Anywhere.

Just li'l ol' Nobody
Because he lives Nowhere.
