follow the mind but heed the heart
What is it people see, what causes these strange dreams
Can one understand the struggle to be man?
We deny our animal instincts and in doing so our innocence
It does not take a scientist to know right from wrong
When you can watch a creature “of lesser intelligence” care for its young
Man is not what we are, man is a dream carried by those who fear the realities of life
The desire to create man kind has instead created disaster
Animals don’t wage war, man does
Animals don’t attack with out cause, man does
So why is it we hold this dream if not to better ourselves?
To distinguish that we are better then
Better then what? Does it matter? For in this dream there is no equal
While in the realities of life we are all fragile creatures without the stomach to admit it.
