This isn't really religious. I just wrote it one day.
I see the gates
They were pearly and white
Saint Peter stands in front
Beckoning me to come
I walk in
I seem to float
With wings on my back I soar
I realize where I am
Heaven…
Suddenly I wake
An oxygen mask on my face
Somebody saying something to me
I groan in pain, I hurt all over
“You’ve been in an accident,” they say to me.
I remember the car
Driving straight at us
I moan once more
And fall into shadow
I now say that I’ve been,
Though some don’t believe,
To Heaven and back
With an Ace up my sleeve
