I watched her as she walked away
Lost my Light

I watched her as she walked away
Years of love begin to decay
My heart again becomes icy cold
Remembering false dreams that you sold
Tears streaming as skies downpour
My body numb, my spirit tore
Once again I walk, so alone
A king to a peasant, no queen, no throne
Thought I was special, now I see
I meant nothing to you, how can this be?
I fell for your games, your tricks, your lies
Seeing no faults through love shot eyes
My world now turning, no, spinning around
No longer I smile, it’s all upside down
I watch you disappear into the black cloaked night
Knowing I lost again, lost my guiding light
I no longer see you, only the dark
On my soul a scar, your mark
