I guess everyone thinks about Angels and this is just one that crossed my mind.

"Wings"

I saw an Angel the other day,
Her gossamer wings swept me away.
Flowing braids of golden hair;
I was mystified by her loving stare.

Love so strong, can't be denied
To higher heights of bliss I'll ride
Above the windswept fields of grain
Through the maelstrom of a hurricane;

I'll soar over the mountain tops;
May this feeling never stop.
Nor the span of time ever end;
the boundless years of love to spend

I'll remember the Angel's breath,
in this, my final hour of death;
My Angel soars on gossamer wings;
Eternal peace my Angel brings.
