This is the prologue of the book I am writing its about a girl whos kidnapped by fairies
The night was still. No leaves rustled in the trees, nor did the crickets dare make a single sound. The wind sighed as she soared by, they knew he was coming. The sprites and elves hid amoung the trees, fearful of their master. All was silent except for the light footfalls of a young man. He appeared to be young but he was really as old as time itself. His form was tall and slender, his smooth face pale, and his long hair dark and wavy. His mouth was full and his chin determined and a slight smile played at his lips. But his eyes were full of hatred; a flame was livid in those dark pits.

His queen was gone. Faerie was not the same without her. The once lively twilight skies were now dull and no stars shone in the darkness. Her laughter which resounded throughout the brooks was there no more and the once lush green grass was now withering and brown. The land was dying. He needed a queen. One he knew would be loyal, one with beauty that surpassed that of his FORMER queen. He looked up at the pale moon and smiled. He knew of just the girl he was looking for. She was all he wanted. Or so he thought.
