A reflection on what the world has become; and what shines through to it.
Hurt not, for life comes and goes like the wind.

The fierce winds rage.
They destroy cities,
Raze houses
And obliterate the hopes of the weak human light,
They fight the human spirit

The gentle winds soar.
They soothe the soul,
Fuel the fires
That rage inside and warms the heart and mind
And that of those around us.

That is their power.

Calm those fierce winds.
Look not to what you or others have done,
Or their potential to cripple the strongest of backs,
But listen to the whispers of the gentle winds,
Listen to its potential, its power.

And before long you’ll see,
That one strong kindred spirit,
Full of the winds of love and hope,
Can overcome the most bitter of storms
With their heads held high.

That is their power.

A cold wind can’t overpower,
The heart and essence of the loving air,
That caresses the sorrows,
And ignites the warm blaze that lives inside
The most hardened, harrowed souls.

These kindred winds
cannot be stopped by material possessions,
or even by death for it is the power in us all.
The everlasting grasp on love,
And the kindness of another wind.

That is their power.

Neglect those winds,
Ignore the whispers,
And they fade
To your heart and wither
At your expense.

Welcome the newborn spirits.
Start the winds of change,
And spread the affection from deep within
To the core of the next
And change the world.

That is their power.
That is their power.
