A poem that came to me while watching my little boy grow up.
I just can't stand it!
The pressure is too great!
My brain is on fire!
I can't hesitate!

~The knot tightens~

Seconds are hours!
I can barely breathe!
I KNOW I can do this,
I've GOT to believe!

~Another knot tightens~

SUCCESS! I have done it!
I didn't need any help!
I tied my own shoelaces
All by myself!
