A big mistake that little girls might make.
It was a night like all the others except for the cold steel from the hood of the car she lay on. Eyes to the stars and hands folded over her stomach. Hoping to hide the butterflies that flapped a muck from her first lover, third love and latest obsession. Hey what can I say, she was a sucker for love. Or even more honestly than that, being loved, or so they say.

He leaned against the rusty old Lincoln in the dark with only the light from his ciggarette as proof that anybody reside there in the back alley of the building. Poorly lit and six flights down they stayed, quiet. Enjoying each others presence and waiting. Well just her really. He had no idea. She knew. But it was like rain really. The unexpected expected. "Come on." ,she said in her mind. "Get it over with. I have to be home before"... Not like it mattered. Her mother didn't make her feel like she was the fairest in the land anymore. The posters on the wall never stared so deep into her soul that her eyes would start to water with joy. Her pillow never hugged back with kisses that heated her curiosity. She stopped thinking of how utterly sad her life would be without him and said, "I know."

Then she shut her eyes. Breathing deep and steady but all still at the same time. Two minutes went by. "Wow. New record.", she thought. Finally he stood light and firm in front of her knees while her legs hang motionless against the side of the car. She felt his hands run slowly up her legs to her hips then, he tugged. Gently. Pausing for any natural bodily gestures she made purposely, unconsciously. "Cant make it seem to good to be true.", she schooled herself in her selfless thoughts. First the pants go then anything. During this anything a few moments of pain was felt on her no longer special place due to the alcohol seeped in his tongue that she had asked him to put away earlier. But then he gave her that look. That look that melts her shields, breaks her heart and wet her... well, just her. "No longer special place"? Yeah, that's what it means when a white wedding dress is out of the question. But that was months ago.

By the time he was done with his romantic fiasco he zipped his pants, dressed his doll, I mean girlfriend and woke sneaking beauty. "Oh if you only knew.", she thought. "I know your love, your lust is so strong for me that your actions are out of your control. But so is my non-action. But how careful you are to keep me sheltered from facing your demons. Well, it's just plain sweet." Dressed and escorted home he kissed her on her mouth leaned to her ear and said, "I love you baby." She shyed from the passion in his tone and the sex which jumped from her ear onto her neck crawled down her spine and into her pants.
"Stop.", she whispered as she giggled.

Down the elevator he rode and to her bed she graced. Her beautiful bronze skin glowed due to the white cotton panties and tank top she wore for sleep. Laying on her side using the sheets to keep her thighs apart and pain at a light buzz, she closed her eyes, felt the sun and whispered to the outside wise wind, "I love you too."
