A poem about life's purpose
The world doesn’t care.
It could all collapse on you.
Life will never be fair.
There’s nothing you can do.

Everyone falls.
You can only stay up so long.
And when the end calls
Will the world realize it’s wrong?

When the light fades
Will it even matter?
The world pulls its shades
And your forgotten friends scatter

And you’ll just keep falling
Like everyone before you
Is life only a stalling?
What exactly did you do?

Fate’s a lonely demise
To a life without meaning
When it all dies
There’s no shoulder for leaning

The world is falling
Through the darkest of the abyss
And you’ll scream out calling
But the timing’s amiss

I know in the end I will fall
We will all take that hit.
But if I can lift one person back up
It’ll all have been worth it.
