The Spiznack Institute is an unprofitable disorganization committed to the nurturance of knowledge and creativity. It is the philosophy of our group that people are inherently good. When left to their own devices with the free and open exchange of ideas people will see the world transform as we evolve biologically, intellectually, culturally and spiritually into something like paradise.

It is our belief that all people should be allowed to do as they wish as long as they do not harm anyone else or inhibit the freedom of anyone else. These are subjective boundaries. We, as humans, experience the world subjectively. We believe that objectivity is impossible. Any attempt to disseminate information in an objective fashion is both futile and dishonest. However, we do not take our subjective nature as license to be intellectually dishonest or deceitful to push our own beliefs. We believe that honesty is the cornerstone of a great society.

We believe that those in power have kept their power by instilling fear, nationalism (not to be confused with patriotism) and ignorance in the masses. A public that is afraid is irrational. One who is afraid usually makes quick decisions fueled more by instinct than by reason. Fear creates distrust and dislike of some other, whether it is another race, religion, country. This is the source of nationalism. We distinguish nationalism from patriotism in that while both mean a love and devotion to one’s country, nationalism holds one’s country above all other countries as a racist believes his race to be superior to all race’s or a Fundamentalist believes his faith is superior to all other faiths. Fear and nationalism spread more easily through ignorance. An educated, informed public would never tolerate the injustice and growing inequality that the global elites have worked long and hard to create.

We also believe that if all the money spent on weapons and “defense” was used to feed, clothe and educate the poor of this world (the US’s defense spending alone would probably cover the cost several times over) then all would be well in the world and we can leisurely explore both inner and outer space together.

It is our mission to seek ideas and information and to share those ideas with all people so that we may all evolve peacefully and escape the burning chaos of this material universe together.
