A woman haunted by her lost love
I'm left here on earth, you've gone on without me
But your presence lingers and it won't let me be.
I try to get away, I roam from place to place,
But I'm forever haunted by your relentless face.

I know that you're gone, but I still feel you here,
Wherever I am, I know you're somewhere near.
Put my body underground and send my soul above,
For I am stuck here, tormented by our love.

I sit and cry on my bed, your fingers in my hair,
But when I turn to touch you, my fingers clutch the air.
You said we'd last forever, we'd never let love be.
And soon we'll be together for all eternity.
