. yeah me!

2) i have been either out of town, busy with my mother or geting ready to go out of town; so i have not had much time to write, edit or think. once all this has settled down i ought to get back here for reviewing and such. i think. oh bother.

i have been a little out of touch lately. my mother is coming for a visit and that makes me break out the bleach and disinfect everything in sight, which takes time. plus, i'm looking for a job and that is also taking up what little time i have left over from the mad dash of house cleaning and yard grooming.

i fully intend on doing some more reviews and editting some more of my own works shortly, but there is the visit to Grandma (also involving the meeting of family and boyfriend), the week of boyfriend visiting and the F1 race in Montreal with several days spent in toronto coming up; so i am fairly sure nothing will come about from me for a while. that's okay.

i have the time line for my serial mapped out, the first two episodes have been written and nearly finished being proofed. i am not sure if i'll wait until i have all 26 done or publish as i go. . . i can't decide.

anyway, it is late and i'm suppose to try and get up at a decent time tomorrow. night.

 Assassin's Tea  (18+)
Come to feudal Japan and see what is brewing beneath the surface.

there were some minor grammatical errors in the story that i asked my proofreader to help me catch (i'm horrible at reading my own writing, i often see what i want and not what is there, opps!). some typos, semicolon misusage and a few other little problems have been taken care of (yet another error, ending a sentence with a perpesention (SP?)).

anyway, its all new and pretty, i think, so read on.

later today i ought to be releasing photo op. we'll see.

i don't like dealing with most people. i'm not a friendly person, i'm not easily liked and i happen to embrace my sadistic side. so, with all that in mind i'll start with an honest review.

the item number is 956700

this was written by a male who doesn't seem to have too high of an opinion for women. oh look! she makes very basic observations! oh look! she f***s someone! she is tainted! down the the whore! ahhh, isn't that sweet, she is going to do her wifely whorey duty and die with him. after all, that is all a female is worth, right?

beyond the low opinion of women, the story has been told and been told better. this is a really short version of romeo and juilet. shakespear isn't my thing, but i will agree that he could write. i read this and just feel sickened.

i gave the author a 3.5 for a marginal story. i said it was nifty. really nifty. i pointed out a misplaced comma. i was positive, because i read the guide line and knew i shouldn't say what i actually thought. apparently the author thought the 3.5 was a 5, only being penalized for bad proofing (i.e. the misplaced comma). he sent me an email asking if i would change it to a 5 with the comma removed. i said no. i wanted to say f*** off, but i didn't.

yes, writers are often times very bad at grammar. unless it makes the story or what have you unreadable, i look the other way. i offered the misplaced comma because i thought i was being helpful. i know i misuse semicolons, but i'm not offended when people tell me so. i ignore it. but i'm not offended.

i'm fairly sure this is all very pointless. i grade on a scale of all authors i've ever read and i read a lot. i don't think my s*** is all that great, but i write anyways. really, what does it all matter? f*** if i know or care at this point.

somewhere along the line, i lost my mind. i really did. i decided that i would write a 26 episode serial about a sociopath. now i'm wondering if i have 26 episodes in me.

that really isn't that big of a problem. it is the planning that i'm not crazy about. i somehow managed to write a 21 or so chapter long book without planning it and now i have to figure out how to strech a story that i could potentially tell in two or three episodes (without much detail or scheming) into about 15. i decided to give myself a break and do most of the character devolopment in stand alone episodes, 11 in all.

i am sort of hoping that in half a year i'll have project x finished, but i think that is pushing the levels of decency. in all likelihood it will take me at least a year, if i didn't work on anything else. of course, project x is suppose to be the fun work that takes my mind off of the book i'm re-rewriting. hmmm. . .i think i screwed up somehwere along those lines.
