words thrown together, trying to understand my situation
I let the tears fall
hoping the pain will escape
yet all is still the same
inside my confused mind

the words I crave to hear
are rarely spoken
the touches I long for
are seldom given

I don't know how
one person can love and hate
the same person
who can't love them back
