a sad story of a soldier
The spring rain falls from the sky,
As if the heqavens are crying,
It falls to the battlefeild,
As people are dying.

Because of the bullets that are flying,
Women back home are worring,
The rock hard soldier,
Memories of his family are fading.
He misses them so,
For he knows they are back home waithing.

His children playing with their new spring things,
While on the ground dead,
Is he lying,
They put him in a coffin,
And wrap it in a flag,
Then with the others,
Sail him across the Sea.

He was loyal to his country,
As should we all be,
He gave his life,
So we could be free,
We should say thank you,
So next time you look up into the sky,
Say thanks to all the soldiers,
who gave their life for you and me.
