a poem about what it is
Solitude is loneliness.
Solitude is true.
Solitude is embracing the darkness
instead of the darkness embracing you.
Lost in the pit of dispair
you have sealed your fate.
Surrounded by hell's fire.
Surrounded by evil and hate.
Solitude you cannot touch.
Solitude you cannot see.
Solitude is your lonely nights.
Solitude is me.
I am all around you.
I am in your thoughts.
You are the one I look for.
You are the one I haunt.
Your sorrow-filled soul and your deserted heart
have put me within reach.
Without anyone to hear your soul's screaming cries,
in solitude will you forever be.
If there is no one that cares about your problems.
If there is no one to help you see them through.
The only conclusion that you can come to is,
solitude is you.
