To you, I offer my being. (A free-verse poetry)
To You, I Offer

Here, my love, are the fruits we’ve picked,
I have prepared the round table for our meal;
Do prepare, wash away your worries!
Banish your painful past, treat yourself anew;
My love, sit with me, for now, we shall dine.

Life is not wholly harsh, my love!
For here I am, with the love we breathe,
With our souls and spirits soaring high
To a place of wonder, to a home—
Where we are the masters of design.

Hold me with thy tender hands,
For I die when far from thou—
Carry me to the future we hunger,
To our happiness, to the garden of love,
Where we’ll blissfully harvest till we resign.

Join me, love, we shall banish the tempests
For our love itself shall endure this eternity—
A lifetime of fulfillment, happiness and glory!
Our love knows no rest, no idleness, no death
Persistently flowing, continually leaving its sign.

Away with thy frown, for that, I pain and grieve,
Trash that morsel of sadness—dearest, I love you!
I’m always with you, in you, faithfully loving you,
Living with you, staying, never leaving; with me—
You shall be sheltered, satisfied and forever mine.

A mere possession—certainly, you shall never be,
Though undeniably, you, my love, are mine alone!
Mine to love forever, with or without perception
I live for you alone, I breathe to love you so!
To you I offer my life and my being—
For I am, forevermore, thine.
