Little girls
floundering in
purple lips,
hips swinging
and tangerine bitten
bee stinging
inappropriate with
mouth singing
Where
fruit loops meet Kiplinger,
my “politics” are
not oriented by fences.
Fence-sitting or
fencing
defenseless, defensive
tense or tense-ive
(as in old, new
annual, or weekly).
Pensive
pendulum hips
tick, tock
swinging stops
for no one.
