A mother's tale.
She was beautiful and glowing in a way that only a mother soon to give birth can be, but underneath her calm exterior she was excited, nervous and even a little fearful. Her feelings only visible if one were to peer deep into her eyes.
Like any other mother-to-be she was worried that her child may not be healthy, or that she may not be able to care for the child as she should, despite the fact that she had borne other children these fears still played in her mind, although her heart was telling her all would run smoothly.
Patiently she waited, knowing this birth was of great importance, it would change many lives. She could feel the life stirring from under her cloak, silently she slipped her hand inside the magnificent cloak to soothe the restless life within her. Her cloak began to slip from her shoulders, she grasped it with one hand, drawing the warmth of the stars around her once more.
The glowing bulge of her belly protruded from the cloak. She felt the warmth of life grow stronger and her muscles tightening. Very soon the beautiful woman would bring a whole new world into the universe; she would carefully mould the civilizations of this world and change the course of the universe forever, as she had done many times before. The responsibility of Mother Nature was a great one, the burden unfathomable, but she would not swap her role for anything, she gives life to many with the great reward of seeing her children smile and create life's of their own.
