this is about how being depressed feelsand how to combat it.
Grey clouds wash over me,
They let their dull light reflect over my being,
Nothing compares to being depressed,
And I am lost in my own misery.

TRAPPED! I am trapped in myself,
I long to smile and be free,
Instead nobody wants me at all,
I am put away to gather dust on a shelf,

HELP! Please stop the pain and the sadness!
Will nothing take the pain away?
Please stop this inner Hell!
Please, let me out to rest!

Then one day i look at my friends,
My family!
It is like being immersed in cold water,
I realise that I have smiled again.

The only cure for depression is,
To look around in wonderment,
To see things as you always used to,
Just look around at all that is.

This is my lesson,
I preach to you,
Help yourself,
And do what others can't do.
