a random poem i wrote
Siren

There is a look of desperation and sorrow in her eyes.
Her small round lips are untightly closed.
The pale blue of her skin camoflages in the sea.
Her lengthy and hated tail covered in revolting green scales.

She wishes she could open her lips, let out a note, a word
But the men would drown, they would die, and hate.
She only wants to love, is that too much to ask
Love is a difficult thing.
