this is a poem of a suicide.
That last resort is in my mind,
a scream from the devil,
a cry from my soul.
A knife in my hands,
am I in control?

Put the knife to my wrist,
press down and drag.
The life I may miss,
has pulled that white flag.

I now see my blood,
A pool of red on my carpet.
My vision is fading,
my heart skips a beat,
I fall to the floor.

No longer breathing,
my body will be cold,
I'm sorry for leaving,
All my truths are untold.

I will leave you now,
now and eternally,
I love you forever,
but the ground,
is my new home.
