the way I feel that some adults treat children.
"The youth of the nation,"
is tormented with abuse.
With animosity you point your fingers,
we are to blame for your worldly disorder.
The fault is always ours,
and we alone are to fix everything.
Taking your pain,
happiness,
and anger,
into ourselves.
Grieving for our broken hearts and souls,
we hold the weight of the worlds troubles.
You misunderstand,
our defiance,
our hatred,
our insanity.
In your eyes,
our thoughts and love,
have no worth.
Our birth was your calamity,
and your death will be ours.
In your authoritativeness,
we are powerless and inferior,
we are never correct.
You believe we have no direction,
no stability,
no reason,
no thought,
no ingenuity.
But after all we are only,
"The Youth Of The Nation."
