Unrequited love is more painful than we'd like to admit.
Have you ever lain awake all night?
With the tears coming in desperate streams,
Leaving lines of make-up,
Cascading down your face.
Knowing no one's out there,
Out there missing you, today.
Ever felt so completely alone?

The only one, so alone.
So alone.

Abandoned by all,
All but your thoughts.
And his face won't leave,
It's stuck in your head.
And no matter what you do,
He won't leave you alone.
And his voice, it's always in your ear,
The things he said to you,
The way it made you feel,
You can't forget.
He controls your life,
But no one even knows,
Because you're the only one.

The only one, so alone.
So alone.

And you can't help loving him,
As much as you don't want to.
This is hell for you,
But you can't stop it.
There are so many reasons for you to hate him,
But you can't.
You can't.

And you're still alone.
