It takes courage to be yourself, in hiding you destroy who you could be,be yourself.
Behind this wall
is where I hide
It's the real me
you will never find.
Behind what hides

Behind this smile
I hide a frown
My dissapointment
wont ever be found
Behind what hides

Behind my shield
I am brave
You'll never see
The coward I have become
Behind what hides

Behind these eyes
I am deceiving you all
It's too bad
You can't see it at all
Behind what hides

Behind what you see
Is what's really me
What you'll never see
Is the girl I could be

Behind what hides
Behind these lies
