A poem that gives the wind personality, and describes its effect on the world.
Foretell my dreams and send me alone
among the rafters, wither so-ever I list
there shall ye find me.

Clustered in the schools of the sea,
obeying the patterns of an impulsive moon
to flush the violent waves toward the arms
of shore.

I have seen the setting sun. I know
the locker in which he hides when his rays
have fallen below the fires of the horizon.

I have ushered in the moon to lift him
high above the firmament. As he soars in
the midnight sky, the stars wink in
passive submission and the earth breaths
a sigh of relief, then closes its eyes
in sleep.
