I loved the idea. I think it could be developed into a very interesting series.
I didn't like...
The writing style. The writing is technically correct (with an exception of an incorrect apostrophe use late in the novella), but it is far too formal for my taste.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
read something else. I won't be continuing with the rest of the books in the series.
I recommend this Book because...
the writing may get better as the series goes on.
I don't recommend this Book because...
I got the e-book when it was offered for free. I would have been upset to pay $2.99 for a mediocre 38-page short story.

Maybe it gets better, but I don't want to take the risk of paying for more of the series in case the writing style stays the same as the first.
