Inspector Lynley and Sgt. Havers are back in London investigating two murders in the House of Lords. It turns out that there is a government conspiracy to hide documents and cover up the scandal.

They solve the mystery, but are frustrated in their efforts to bring the guilty parties to justice. Power and influence trump what is right and just in this action packed thriller.

anyone who enjoys the interplay between Nathaniel Parker and Sharon Small as Lynley and Havers.

Havers attempts at using a dating service. Those dates were pretty funny in a sad sort of way.

any hint that Lynley and Havers will be romantically involved. This goes against the books and would not seem right to me.

if you like the series this was a good episode with the caveat that the ending was a bit frustrating. I like to see the bad guys get theirs and here they were so powerful they just go on with business as usual.
