Summary of this Book...
This is a funny, moving, unique story about a little girl who has a penchant for stealing books. The story is narrated by Death, which I thought could be strange but, actually, it was brilliant. I really liked Death by the end of the story. It is set in Germany in World War II, and it is a story about the pain and, even, happiness war brings with it.
This type of Book is good for...
Anyone who loves to be immersed in the lives of others, anyone who loves to be moved by books. It is also really funny in places.
I especially liked...
Liesel's touching relationship with her foster parents, in particular her Papa, and also Rudy, her best friend.

Tell everyone I can how good it is.

A little sad, as though I actually knew Liesel. I felt for her loss. Also, really happy that I now know Liesel's story.

It is a thought provoking, funny, clever, different novel.
