Rowen Greensmith moved away from Lainswich to get away from her family of witches. She's content living on her own with a job in tabloid journalism.

However, after her Aunt Lydia calls and tells her an old sealed chest was sold at the annual Greensmith family yard sale. The chest contained a dead body and after sawing the chest open the woman who bought it was found dead.

Rowen had to return to Lainswich to clear her family's name as they are suspects in the two murder cases.

Unfortunately, her boss wants her to write a story about the murders and her family for the tabloid. Between writing the story and trying to solve the murder Rowan has her work cut out for her.

Greensmith Girls is the type of book that you don't want to put down. A good entertaining read.

I especially liked the antics of the witches, their spell, and family interactions.
