The Doctor and Amy Pond race through the multiverse to stop its total destruction. The stakes couldn't be higher as they participate in the tournament to end all tournaments -- or not.
This type of Book is good for...
Doctor Who fans. Michael Moorcock fans.
I especially liked...
I especially liked the absurdist elements and the author's vivid imagination and descriptions thereof.
I didn't like...
The book takes a while to pick up steam, and some of the characters seem a bit one-dimensional. And I'm not sure Moorcock has a good handle on the characterization of the Eleventh Doctor, or Amy. Way too much exposition, especially in the early pages.
This Book made me feel...
Bored, at first, but it got more interesting as it developed and things actually started happening.

Michael Moorcock has been writing fantasy and SF for decades; he is, perhaps, best known for his Elric novels.
