This is a wonderful poem. We've had 80+ degrees here in West Texas, and can you believe they are talking about SNOW for the weekend? Dude!! Uncool...the warm temps had lulled me into forgetting it is still mid-March. But I know that time keeps marching, and soon the grass will green and the flowers shall bloom again. Blessings to you, Brother!

I understand. I’m not the perfect Christian, but my desire is to be obedient to the Lord. That’s why I John 1:9 is such a precious promise.

Like a kid, sometimes it's so hard to obey. Sometimes it's hard to hear his voice over everything going on in my head. But, I say little prayers throughout the day to help me stay close.

If you haven't hit the nail on the head! Here, in West Texas...the air is brown with dirt. I find it almost hard to believe that New Mexico has any dirt left...sigh...LOL

The quotes above are a nice start. I learned about Haiku on WDC. It is one of my favorite types of poetry because it says so much with so few words. Most of my poetry knowledge started with WDC. You have a nicely presented blog.
