This will be very brief is it is quite late.
I got up at about 10:30 A.M. I did my readings then I listened to music on YouTube.
I wrote on my Thrice Prompted story for an hour. I had to change some things like the number of bad guys. It just was easier without multiple foes in this instant. I will be done within few days. After that, I have two more stories for my MB.
I read two chapters out of Soul Trackers. It took an hour and twenty minutes. I’m roughly halfway through book.
I was able to go to the store because it was overcast, making it a lot cooler. I saw Jim there. He must get off at 8 P.M.
I’m still trying to get the last verse or two down which reads:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit watching to this end that perseverance and supplication be made for all the saints.
Hmm…I was able to get that down by heart. Yea!
I feel like the Lord is telling me to put the subject of playing games until after I publish my book. I still need more feedback though. I will eventually send it to an editor.
Well, that’s it for now. Goodbye.

It’s a little toasty in the house. The AC dudes have dismantled the old unit. No they’re finishing craning in the new one. It’s a pretty big sized unit. I can’t wait until it’s up and running. You never know how much you’re blessed with something until you don’t have it. LOL. The whole air conditioning shebang costs half than the company we had before. This includes labor and warranty.
We had to sleep in the heat last night. I was able to sleep but it took some more time than usual. We were more concerned with how our little dogs would do in the heat. Last night we were planning to go to a hotel but none allowed pets. The nearest one that did was in Henderson – way too far away! So we just roughed it.
Jim is off. Good for him.
I got some coffee at the Starbucks in the Alberton’s store. We also got some junk food. LOL.
I got very string praise about my book from Michael. He loved it! He thinks it could be a movie. That was most encouraging and I let him know. One particular thing he liked was the descriptions. He said he could easily picture it. Yes!
Michael wants me to start filming him on his trips to the mountains. He wants his own YouTube channel where he can feature his adventures. I said I’d pray about it. He said he’d pay me. I declined but he insisted. If I do it, I will be in the fall or winter. Michael is such a devout Christian. He does not attend church at all. I wonder how much fellowship he gets besides me.
Well, the AC unit is installed. Yea! It’s already cooling down.
Chad called when I was doing my quiet time so I did answer. I’m trying to get this little verse done that finishes a string of verses I have down already. It reads: praying always in all prayer, and supplication in the Spirit,…
It sounds easy, being small and all, but it I always interchange a word or two. LOL.
I called Joel about going to church with me and I left voicemail. I simply told him to get back to me. I hope he says yes.
Well, I’m of to read. Goodbye.

Well it looks like we have a problem - we need a whole new AC unit. It will all cost about 13k. Pretty scary. Nevertheless, it is always in God’s hands. He‘ll provide the money. Right now I think the AC is off and I live in Vegas. Jim is at work so the air-conditioning dude gave my mom the rundown as far as prices, parts, labor, service and repair deals and even more related stuff about the prices offered. We have hotter than normal AC. But When Jim and my mom makes their choice, the new unit will be installed ASAP as in tomorrow. My mom said we will probably be getting the best deal, which is of course the most expansive. Aye, aye, aye. LOL. It will get taken care of. The dude was explaining the who shebang to my mom but I was only about halfway able to comprehend what he said. The guy sent all the information to my mom and Jim’s email. I pray that Jim would take it easy over this whole thing.
I was having a good talk with Michael. We spoke of a few things. Let me tell you, he is a much better conservationist than Chad, his bro is. LOL. Michael and I spoke of a few things mostly about the Bible. He told how he treats all life, even insects, with respect. I more or less told him if I ever found a harmful spider in my house I’d kill it because it is a health threat. Black Widows and Brown Recluses are bad news. I told him how I once tried to shoe a pregnant Brown Recluse and I released a lot of little babies. )=
He also spoke of how he goes to the mountains to hike to be away from all the congestion and radio waves and such. He goes there it feel closer to God too. I won’t hike in this heat. Michael says I need to rough up. We also mentioned the idea if animals having speech in the Garden of Eden. We all know a serpent spoke to Eve. The question is why animals don’t talk today. The serpent could have been a single occurrence. At some point we talked about my story. He asked how many pages it is. I just took a guess. He says he really wants reed it. I got his email number and sent all my chapters to him. Michael was on his lunch for an hour.
So now I have to spend time writing something else while I wait for feedback. I’ll work on my Thrice Prompted story. It’s a bit warm now. I hope it doesn’t bother me when I’m sleeping. LOL.
My sister sent me a funny facial getup. It was a gray bushy mustache and eyebrows with a cowboy hat. I could hardly recognize her.
It was 107 degrees where she was in Death Valley. It was about 102 degrees here at that time.
I had one ride from church yesterday. Both the senior and assistant pastors were gone. Jimmy, the senior one, visited New Orleans. His dad is deathly ill. If he dies he’ll be with Jesus.
The sermon by Pastor Ken taught about grace and absolute truth. That includes the fact that all are under sin. Moreover, if any man says he is perfect, he calls God a liar because the Word say all men are flawed. It makes me think of the idea that all religions are equal. They can’t be all true. For instance: Islam and Christianity are incompatible. The Koran say Jesus was a lesser “prophet” the Mahammad. The Bible says Jesus is the Messiah and that all other beings are under His dominion.
Well, that’s it for now. Goodbye.

Psalm 23 (Forgot my verse for the day. LOL.)

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lay down in green pastures, he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul. he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For you are with me. Your rod and your staff they comfort me. He prepares a table in the presence of my enemies, you anoint my head with oil my runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

This will be another short entry. My mom is taking me to church at 7 P.M.
I got up late again. I was able to mop the floor and do the kitchen. Then I did my readings. This is what I memorized. I messed up the part in brackets. LOL.

I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually by in my mouth. My soul shall boast itself in the Lord. The humble shall hear it and be glad. [Oh, magnify the Lord with me] and let us exalt his name together. Psalm 34:1-3

Above are only the first three verses of all eighteen that is on the handout. I’ll work on the rest of it. It may take a few days or so.
Chad called. He thinks he has the job at Dell Taco. I’m glad for him. He wants me to visit him now. LOL. I have to get the ball rolling on the paratransit thing. I want to see the bunny at his house.
Jim got spam in his email account that was spam. It said his account was to be terminated in three days. I typed in the email number and I was brought to the forum page where others had the same message. A message from the email rep said it was spam.
Jim gets off at 7 P.M. On Monday and Tuesday, he had off all day.
It’s 106 degrees out. The plastic trash bin was hot when I brought it in. Jim and I made the mistake of think trash is gathered only twice a month. It turns out the two days are for bulk items. LOL.
I think my mom is feeling a little yukky at the moment. She’s sleeping now. I hope she can take me to church.
Merlin is still a barker. After three years, he has not changed. Yesterday my mom brought up the idea if booting him out of the house. But we always feel that way from time to time. He is so lovey, dovey with my mom but not with me and Jim.
So concerning videogames – I got the notion to give both my systems to a needy family with kids or teens who want one but can’t by one. The Bible says “He who gives to the poor, lends to the Lord and He will repay him for what he has done.” If such a situation arrives, I will wait for God to confirm it.
I still want to play but that time is not now. I need to focus on my devotion to God 100%. Once I get my priorities straight, I may be able to play. I just have to seek God daily and keep people and myself praying for me. I also have to go to Most Excellent Way on a regular basis. That is my spiritual central control center.
I need to take Joel to church. I’ll call him on Friday.
I’ve got to go to the gym in the morning. I want to start my new regimen of reading and writing.
Well, I have to go. Until tomorrow.

I got up at 11 A.M. I was up at like 6 A.M. but I just didn’t feel like going. ): I’ll try again tomorrow.
Me, my mom and Jim went to the new Chinese last night at a restaurant next door. It wasn’t bad. I had the sesame chicken. It was $9.95. I think it had a good amount of food for the price. When I was there, I texted a brother named Craig for a ride to the meeting. I sent him my address.
About forty minutes later, he picked me up. I forgot the teacher’s b-day was last night. I would have gotten him a card and perhaps some money. Craig brought a tub of Neapolitan ice-cream. When we got there, someone had brought a big sheet cake. When the ladies came, they went all out; they had party hats, pizza, a gift bag, those tube blowers, and some cupcakes. Concerning the actual message for the night, it was about having peace amidst external situations that cause, anxiety, anger or fear. He gave us a plethora of verses! – more than we could review over.
I forget the verses. Each of them mentioned peace at some point.

Be anxious for nothing but in all things give prayer and supplication let your requests be made know to God [with all thanksgiving] and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding shall keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Above was a verse I am reinforcing by wring it in my journal. The only thing I missed was what was in brackets. LOL.
I was texting my sister Sarah for a while. She was driving through South Dakota. She sent me a very pristine pic of a beautiful lake. We talked about stuff like movies to be exact. She hasn’t been to the movies for a month. Sarah saw a “dorky” movie about a couple of guys who have played tag since they were 8 and 34 years later playing the same game. That was the jest of the film she gave me. She also sent me a brain teaser pic of two monkeys looking at each other from the side and third looking at you. At the top it read: Four monkeys are staring you. The answer to the riddle is that the spectator is the fourth monkey -an allusion to evolution. But it was interesting.
Chad called. He had an interview for Del Taco. He and I are both hoping he’ll get the job. I believe God will give him a good job. I prayed with him over the phone. My mom suggested I do that.
I’m still praying God will open up his eyes to the gospel.
Well, that’s it for now. Goodbye

Today has been okay. I got up at 10:30 A.M., zapped up my cup of coffee I bought then got to my readings. I got down two new verses:
John 3:3. And He said to him “Verily, I say to you, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Isiah 26:3. You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in You.
I messed up John 3:3. I just used some different words. For instance, Jesus began by saying “Verily” twice. LOL. Word for word it said:
Jesus answered and said to him, “Verily, Verily I say to you, except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 10:4-5
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, arguments and every high thig that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivety of the obedience of Christ.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I forget the reference number.
I’m going to try a new regimen. I’ll leave for the gym at about 5 A.M. When I get home, I will, first and foremost, read the word, pray and work on memorizing new verses. Then I’ll get editing for two hours, take a break then edit for two more hours later. I think it is a sound plan.
All I’ve done is listen to Christian music with a touch of secular. I found an old favorite that was deleted by YouTube for copyright reasons. It was a Christian song called Love Crucified Arose by a guy named Michael card.
My mom is putting on a security app on the big TV that, according to whatever she read on the net, is essential against outside observers spying on you and such. She wants to put it on the office desktop computer. I go on YouTube a lot mostly to listen to music. The app can be put simultaneously on five different devices. Spiffy.
My mom and I tried to put on the app. We ran into issues so we’ll do it some other time. Apparently, the computer is having trouble knowing if it is installed or not. We keep getting the same message that says something like “already installed” or something similar.
Tonight is Most Excellent way. I should be getting a ride from Craig. I love that place. We pray serious prayer there. That is one of the things I like about it.
Well, I’m off to write. Goodbye.

This will be extremely short as I will be watching something with my mom.
I got up late. Big surprise. LOL.
I’m on my way to memorizing 1 Thessalonians 5:23 which reads: Now, may the God of peace sanctify you completely and may your whole spirit, body and soul be preserved at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I had to look at the text to get the rest of it typed. LOL.
I bumped into my friend Joel on the way home from the store. I asked him if he wanted to go to church with me on a Sunday and then go out to eat. I forgot tomorrow is Sunday. I got his new phone number. I’ll shoot for next Sunday because it is too short notice.
Well, my pizza will be ready soon. Goodbye until tomorrow!

Oh man, I am editing my MW entry. A.E. Wilcox said I need a stronger POV character and to show and not tell more. I posted a message in the HUB asking how to “show” and not tell past events. I am stumped.
I did not go to the gym. Oh well. The reverse osmosis tap is running very weakly. It was having problems before but now it is just pathetic. It took more time to do my coffee. Chad still thinks Starbucks is evil. LoL. He cited the scripture John 16:3 that says. “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Then he said “I have overcome Starbucks, have you?”
He has no idea what he is talking about. LOL.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God in tearing down strongholds and thoughts and every high thing that exalts myself against the knowledge of God. Bringing every thought into the obedience of Christ.
That is not properly quoted. I think the reference is 2 Cor. 10:4-5.
Our plumber put in the new shower spout. It works properly now. The two dogs were barking the whole time and even when he left they kept going. LOL.
So I’m still whining about games. I want to play them and I am like a baby. Despite this I believe there will come a time when I can play them again. It may be months or years. “God is never late or early but always on time.” That is straight from the Bible. The important thing is to be obedient to what God has told me now. I’ll be rewarded for being obedient.
Chad called. He got a very brief interview with a Walmart manager. It was like 15 minutes. As usual, he was rambling at times so I don’t know all that he said. LOL. I heard him say he has other potential jobs he is vying for. I prayed with him over the phone that God would get him the best job he could get.
Eventually he asked me about the paratransit thing. I told him I’ll have to ask my mom about that. It would be nice to see him.
I think Dan’s phone might not be working. I’ve texted him quite a few times with no response. I think my mom will have to take me to church – unless we go to VBF. It’s just so far away. Each service is only an hour or so.

It’s just been a normal day. I didn’t go to the gym. I have one more chance tomorrow on Friday. I don’t go on the weekends. I finished my Magic Words entry. I read it over and made sure I included all the words that needed to be used. Unfortunately, I misread the word limit; it is 5k words than 6k words. I really didn’t go too far over the limit – only about 500 words. I read it back and it sounds good to me.
Chad called. He got a call from Wall-Mart. Good for him. I hope he gets the job. He has an interview.
I know I’ve said reality/contest shows are not my cup of tea. But I just watched America’s Got Talent. It was good. I have forgotten most of the acts but a few. One kid who was 12 years old came out in a suite and loafers. He was rapping! – and he was good too. Plus he wrote all his own material. He could flow with pretty smooth lyrics. Nor the judges or the audience was expecting that. He was in a suite for crying out loud! One of the other acts was of a fifteen year-old who sang. She was so good one of the judges gave her an automatic go-through. The last act I thought was cool was a card magician named Shin. It is cumbersome to describe.

This is my first attempt to recite all the verses that were on the hand out sheet. again, I don’t recall the reference number.
Finally brethren, stand strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may stand against the wiles of the Devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and rulers of darkness of this evil age and spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places. Take up the armor of God that you may stand in the evil day, and having done so, to stand,
stand then having your waist girded with the Belt of Truth, putting on the breastplate of righteousness, having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all taking the Shield of Faith that will quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Take the Helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

Heb. 4:12-13
The Word of God is living and powerful even to the division of soul and spirit, joints and marrow and it is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. No creature is hidden from His sight but all things a naked and open to the eyes of He whom we must give count.
Well, I have to go.

This will be very brief as I have only 30 minutes to do this entry.
I finally made it to the gym! I left the house at about 6:30 A.M. I did a 45 minute cardio on the elliptical machines. Then I did four leg machine and finally my stomach. I didn’t do my patented fist bump to the staff lady on the way out. I’ll do it tomorrow. I felt very good and energetic from my workout. On the walk home I got some Starbucks. When I put in Jim’s cell number there was no discount. The lady there said it had to do with the computers getting reset. The drink I usually get costs a boy $6 with the discount. This time it was like $6.30.
I did three anniversary reviews today. All of them were stories. They weren’t too long or to short.
A person who I’ve never heard from before, posted something in the group HUB; she published he first book. I can’t wait until I experience that. It is only available online. I don’t recall if it was Amazon or what. Anyway, I gave her an MB for it. I have not heard from her yet.
Jim is at work. He gets off at 8 P.M.
Dan never got back to me after I texted him over an hour ago. I asked him for a ride. It’s too late now. LOL. I texted him a few days ago and he didn’t get back to me either. That’s not like him. I’m sure he’s fine
Well, I have to jet. It’s 7 P.M. Until tomorrow!
I began Soul Tracker, the first book in a volume of three. It’s really good so far. Like all of the books by Bill Myers, each chapter is about an hour. I got through two of them and that took two hours roughly.
