Inspired by the rape and pregnancy of an 11 year old.
Everyday I go home.
Mommy asks, ‘How was school?’
And I always answer ‘Good!’

She makes lunch, kisses me.
Goes to work from four till twelve;
Daddy’s happy hours.

Walking in with a bright smile.
Knowing we’re alone.
No need to worry; so he eats slowly.

Shoving himself into me,
I repeat the line, ‘I love you’
While he tugs at my hair, and keeps going and going.

Every time the same,
No one ever rescued me;
From between ages seven to eleven.

Mother Nature finally came through,
And yet, I don’t know what I’m to do
Daddy’s with the law and I delivered his twins.
