A prologue to a story, it just popped into my head, please tell me what you think
Prologue

They think they've won. They thought it was over when we surrendered and laid down our weapons. They thought that we'd all given up, and stopped fighting. They said if we revolt they'd hurt us more. But that's going to happen anyway.
I lost everything in that war. My mother, father, and brother died fighting. My best friend, Kiya and her family died when they set her families house on fire.
I'm not going to hide like a coward. I'm not done fighting.
I have nothing left to lose, and people say the worst enemies are those who have nothing left to lose.
