A Shadow in the Light

All reviews are welcome for anything other than grammar. Any suggestions from flow, to scene transitions, to character development, to etc are welcome. The book is a very dark tale of Rylan, a drunk, who is tasked with shrouding the world in eternal darkness. The skeleton of my book is thought out, every detail is not, so I wont reveal much since everything is subject to change.
