Comfort, joy and love a true friend gives.
{{size:4}size:4}A True Friend

Comfort is not in the outstretched hand
Joy not in the smiling faces
Acceptance not in the company of friends
And love not in a box.

Rather . . .          Comfort is in the heart that shares your grief
Joy in the kind, gentle words spoken
Acceptance in the quietness of a friend
And love in the time given.

You have shared in my grief, you have spoken gentle, encouraging words.
Your spirit has brought quietness to my soul and you have unselfishly given your time . . .
THANK YOU for being a true friend!
