Another depression poem
I’ve been in bed with her for days.
No change of clothes and barely a thing to eat,
No mirrors in the bedroom

We drank wine,
Smoked cigars,
Lying in our bed,

We read books,
Wrote words,
Hardly moving a muscle,

She’ll be there at the end,
Madame Mélancolie,
The lady of my affliction.
