ALONE

My darkness flutters in silent screams
Alone I sit raped of my dreams
Forsaken by my lover's hand
What stands before, a broken man.
I contemplate my life's despair
A realization that no one cares
Absent thoughts of longings true
In blood I've paid, now fear my due
I miss her touch and caring grace
Her tender kiss and friendly face.
Betrothed in love, now rests in hate
My failures known, was this our fate
Our Memories tear right through my skin
Like tattoos of pain i hold within.
Trapped in my mind, there's no escape
For in my nights the demons wait
Befriended by the tears I've bled
Haunted by the words unsaid
I gave to her my everything
She took from me, my very being
Alone, betrayed, broken, afraid
Alone I will be until the grave
