A recap of last night's Seattle/Toronto Game Two.
|BUFFALO, NY. Toronto Blue Jay's starting pitcher, Steven Matz was off last night as his team lost 9-7 to the Seattle Mariners in extra innings.
"He, (Matz), wasn't sharp," said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo at the postgame press conference.
Matz lasted just 2.2 innings.
Mariner's Dylan Moore hit a three run homer at the the top of the 10th inning to put his team up 9-6 that eventually won the game for Seattle.
The Mariners went ahead 4-1 at the top of the third inning.
Toronto battled back.
In the bottom of the third, Randal Grichuk hit a two run double to closed the gap at 4-3.
Marcus Semien tied the game 4-4 with a RBI double in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Mitch Haniger hit a two run homer at the top of the fifth inning to put Seattle ahead 6-4.
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. tied the game with a two run homer in the bottom of the fifth.
Moore went three for five at the plate and had three RBIs.
Mariner's Justus Sheffield pitched four innings and allowed four earned runs.
Gurriel Jr. went two for four and had three RBIs.
